So I = went birding at White Marsh Mall until I got in contact with him. I = managed to find a singing Grasshopper Sparrow in a field by a pond at = the mall, and Matt said this was a very good find. If anyone wants = details, I can give you a descriptive location and directions on how to = find the bird. I'm sure he'll be there for a while. He was singing a = LOT and I'm guessing either there's a nest or he's proclaiming = territory. Also seen this morning at White Marsh (of interest) ... Least Terns Great Egrets Great Blue Herons Common Yellowthroats Indigo Bunting - heard Least Sandpiper Greater Yellowlegs Killdeer Matt and I had a fantastic day birding, definitely around 100 species, = but most of those were in Delaware. I managed 13 lifers, including the = Iceland Gull down in Port Mahon, DE. Some interesting birds at the few = places we stopped in MD, but I'll let Matt tell you about them.
