I found DC Cormorants nesting along the Potomac River in Montgomery Co., inside the Beltway. The 2 nests I saw, both of which, I believe, were blown down in storms, could be seen from Turkey Run Park along the GW Parkway in Virginia. I used to work in that area, so would bird that park on occasion. But I haven't been back in awhile. Definitely worth checking again now that the atlas is underway. Whoever has that block can contact me, and I can tell them where to look.
