Ontario started a breeding bird atlas project in 2001. They have quite an extensive online venture which allows you to enter data and view data. See http://www.birdsontario.org/atlas/atlasmain.html You can select a species and see breeding status over the entire province or in a specific area. Data has been entered from 2001 and some of the 2002 has been posted too. Is there any possibility that the Maryland atlas project will have anything this sophisticated or does it cost way too much to do something like this?
