The PACIFIC LOON was on Clopper Lake around noon today. I got good close looks from the shore downhill from the playground. At around 2:00 I went by the boat ramp at Black Hill Regional Park and quickly located the immature WHITE IBIS. It was feeding in the middle of the water on the left side of the jetty as you walk out. A couple of Solitary Sandpipers were nearby. I also got a glimpse of an adult RED-HEADED WOODPECKER in another section of the park.
