I drove by there this morning after checking one of my bluebird trails. The marsh was teaming with peeps and waders. Only problem was the road crew is back and the beach parking is blocked off and the road is single lane once again. There is no place to park unless you want to walk a fair distance. Once again I asked the road crew when they were going to be done. They said they were "cleaning up" and would be finished sometime this week. We were lucky that the road crew took a few days off last week. I got to see the Stilt Sandpipers late on the afternoon that Jim Stasz reported them. I returned the next day and they were gone. The marsh is in "perfect" condition for migrants at this time.
