Yes, House Finch, = American Goldfinch. Oh, and an adult male White-tailed Deer. And some = dragonflies. Gosh, it was exciting on Sunday. =20 Then we went to the National Zoo and studied several species of = waterfowl in eclipse plumage: Smew, Barrow's Goldeneye, Cinnamon Teal, = Eurasian Wigeon. In the outdoor flight cage we looked at the three = White-faced Ibis, which are molting out of breeding plumage. All had = the red eye and pink skin on the face but only one showed any trace of = pink on the legs. It was really nice to study all these birds at such = close range. =20 Rob Hilton rhilton@csa.com Bethesda, Md.=20 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Subject: Olive-sided, Yellow-bellied Flys in DC From: "Paul P."
