The pelagic from Lewes got to the Baltimore Canyon in Maryland waters. The trip out had a bit of spry, but after that it was smooth sailing. The only proble was a lack of birds. Offshore there were no gulls or terns. We had no jaegers. Seabird numbers were low. The tally: Cory's Shearwater 2 Audubon's Shearwater 6 Wilson's Storm-Petrel 75 Whimbrel 1 Sanderling 3 Red-necked Phalarope 3 The most interesting bird was a Blue-winged Teal heading east over the ocean at the Baltimore Canyon. Good Birding!
