I counted 10 Black-and-white Warblers (saw the first one of season in yard yesterday), 2 Blue-winged Warblers, 1 Mourning Warbler, 2 Worm-eating Warblers, 8 American Redstarts (1 adult male), plus Common Yellowthroat and Yellow-breasted Chat which are probable summer residents. Yesterday I also had a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher near the yard. And the Blue Grosbeaks are still feeding young. It is interesting to see the male sing with an insect in is bill waiting for a chance when to dive toward the nest unobserved.
