Directions: From River Road, go north .7 mile on Hughes Road. There is a place to park at a gate at this point on this narrow road. There are three playing fields laid out perpendicular to the west side of Hughes Road. The plovers were on the middle field, at the far back. A scope is highly recommended. There were also at least 15 Killdeer, morning doves and many starlings on the short trimmed grass of the fields.
