MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Derek, I've enjoyed birding the USDA Research Center. Try especially the small swamp on Research Rd., just South of its intersection with Beaver Dam Rd. (Which meets 201 just So. of Powder Mill Rd.). The most interesting bird I've found there was a red-headed woodpecker, but I recall spotting also a variety of field, wetland, and edge birds.
