Lookout SP, St. Mary's County Comments: To: md-smas@yahoogroups.com Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed Made a mid-day trip to Pt. Lookout State Park (St. Mary's County) to see if the Marbled Godwit was still there. It is. Easily found in the pond on the right before you reach the lighthouse (same pond where the Wood Stork was some years ago). It flew from the far side, where it was mingling with some Willets and yellowlegs to the near side while I was there. Got some decent digiscoped photos. One is available here: . Took a quick walk by the museum and found one silent Brown-headed Nuthatch. It seemed like it was going to rain, so I packed up and left. I doubt that it actually did rain. Thanks to Marty Cribb for locating this bird for us!
