It was pretty lively: 23 Green-winged Teal 2 Am. Black Ducks 36 Mallard 2 Northern Shovelers 1 Blue-winged Teal 3 Killdeer 130 Lesser Yellowlegs 2 Greater Yellowlegs 70 Semiplameated Sandpipers 6 Western Sandpipers 14 Least Sandpipers 2 White-rumped Sandpipers 7 Pectoral Sandpipers 34 Stilt Sandpipers (6 juveniles) 51 Short-billed Dowitchers (mostly juveniles) 85 Purple Martins 300 Tree Swallows 16 Bank Swallows 4 Barn Swallows (so few already) I also had a migrating Cooper's Hawk, and Broad-winged Hawk passing between the scattered raindrops, and 14 migrating kingbirds. Migrating warblers have become evident here, mostly redstarts (don't nest locally), but I had a Blue-winged yesterday.
