It is posted here for those whose live so close to DE or within r at leave driving distance, might wish to take a look see. While vacation this past week at Rehoboth Beach DE, BROWN PELICANS were everywhere. On 08/29/02, a long chain of flying pelicans were seen, numberling at least 30 birds. A little bits later, much to my surprise and delignt, while dodging waves, I looked up at a passing bird to notice that it was a RUDDY TURNSTONE. I got a very good sighting of the bird before I got slammed by an incoming wave...that will teach me to swim in the ocean and bird at the same time. The turnstone was heading north along the shoreline. I have another sighting and hearing to post, but I have to do some research first on it myself. Stay tuned. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Adam Smith Arbutus, Baltimore County, MD CYANBLUECOBALT@email.msn.com <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
