As for further DNA testing, it turns out that there aren't sufficient DNA patterns available for the various races around the world for comparison. It would be like the sound of one hand clapping. If someone were to do an exhaustive study of these races and publish the DNA patterns, it would be worth the effort. It turns out in addition that morphological features are sufficient to pinpoint the race of Shrimpy. She/he is derived from the population that normally breeds on the east coast of northern South America, up to Brazil. Who needs DNA.
