Montgomery - started the morning at Meadowside and was able to find = Black and White, Common Yellowthroat, Magnolia, redstarts and a Hooded = Warbler. Next stop was Layhill, and was able to find Parula, BTB, BTG, = redstarts, Tenn., baypoll (did not get a great look), Magnolia, Black = and White and Common yellowthroat. Howard County - Only a few warblers at Middle Pat. - Magnolia, Redstarts = and Black and White. Carroll - Check several of the shorebird spots Bob has been posting. The = Route 32 bridge was excellent. Both yellowlegs, Spotted, Pectoral, = Semi-palmated Sandpipers, Least, and two maybe three WHITE-RUMPED = SANDPIPERS. Nice day, though I thought there would be more migrants. Also, for those = interested, the Pacific Loon continues at Clopper Lake in Montgomery = County. The loon has been spending lots of time in the boat center cove = which can give you fantastic looks. The Common Loon is also present, = usually in the deeper water by the dam.
