Show closes Sept. 22, after being there since mid-May. Wonderful variety of butterflies in a greenhouse full of just the right plants for feeding/hosting. Most there now are not native to MD but a good chance to see FL/other species. Today many fritillaries(including Julia, Zebra), Queens, Malachites, Atalas, Giant Swallowtails, our Spicebush. Buckeyes, others. Can also watch them emerge from chrysalis. Many natives in the gardens and Brookside is a great place to bird, too. It's off Randolph Rd on Glenallen Ave. Hours 10-4, cost $4.
