It was received from a Stevensville birder. Fran Saunders MOS State Web Site Director http://www.MDBirds.org Silver Spring, MD I live in Stevensville, MD near the Bay bridge. I live on Thompson Creek and paddle my kayak from there onto Cox Creek. On 9/9 I saw 6 green herons in Thompson creek as well as 4 blue herons, 3 Ibises and 2 egrets. In Cox creek- I saw 5 green herons, 4 ibis, 6 blue herons, 1 loon. Not sure if this is helpful, but wanted to at least report this as I has lived here for most of my life and never saw as many birds as I did yesterday. Are they migrating perhaps? ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
