The only time this has happened in the previous eleven years was when a bear attacked it (along with a bee hive) in 93. The feeder was hanging about 18 inches down from a small branch of a dogwood tree, about 5 feet off the ground. Question: has anyone had experience with squirrels, raccoons or possums going after HB feeders? Or do I assume another bruin was in here?
