I have had more than a few good days since mid-August, birding mostly Layhill park, and more recently Meadowside Nature Center. Also a few outings along the Patuxent River. Nothing huge, mind you, no really big push, but almost no days do I go out and find nothing. Almost always a few good pockets of moving warblers/vireos, etc. Still, like Bonnie, I usually get Laughing Gulls passing over my house in late August-early September, but I haven't seen any this year. I did have 2 OSFL at Meadowside the Saturday before Labor Day, so I guess I'm ahead of the game. Haven't had much of anything in the way of moving thrushes yet, though. And only 3 Broad-winged Hawks so far; still waiting for "THE day". Oddly, we've not had many good reports this season from Rock Creek Park, but I think things will pick up today, tomorrow and over the weekend...
