This boded well for my early morning walk, and it proved a most fascinating outing. I take my walks in the Chesapeake Landing development on Mill Creek (a tributary of Worton Creek in western Kent County). Warblers: 2 Tennessee 1 N. Parula 4 Chestnut-sided 13 Magnolia 1 Cape May 1 Black-throated Blue 11 Black-throated Green 6 Blackburnian 1 Bay-breasted 4 Blackpoll 3 Black-and-white 2 redstarts 2 Ovenbirds 1 Com. Yellowthroat 1 Hooded As usual we had good numbers of the typical plurality species of recent years - BTGreen and Maggie, I can remember when Tennessee was the "default" warbler back in the 1970s and early 80s Up North. Other highlights: 1 imm. Little Blue Heron (at the landing on Mill Creek) 11 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds 9 Eastern Wood-Pewees (best count so far here, these guys are the "kingbirds of the thicket" the way they harass the warblers and vireos) Good Birding, Walter Ellison MD/DC Atlas Coordinator - MOS 23460 Clarissa Rd Chestertown, MD 21620-3645 410-778-9568 rossgull@crosslink.net "A person who is looking for something doesn't travel very fast." - E.
