Then last night returning from Hagerstown (9/15), I stopped there again 46 Lesser Yellowlegs 1 STILT SANDPIPER Attempts this morning turned up only 1 Lesser Yellowlegs :-( but all 3 Bairds were still there :-) I also had an eagle at Rocky Gap on Sunday that caught me off gaurd I had thought this was too early for GOLDEN EAGLE but that is what it looked like to me. (yellow book shows some dots around Aug 31st !!) WASHINGTON (Sunday 9/15) Big Pool had 3 GREAT EGRETS and 2 DC Cormorants Blair's Valley Lake had some Least Sands and one each Solitary and Spotted Sandpiper Lots of swallows at Funkstown Lagoon but I was asked to leave before I could look at much else.
