In just a few miles, John Brown Road (well-signed) will cross; turn right here and continue to sod farm fields which will be on your left and right. Park on road edge and scan areas, esp. where there is any moisture (they irrigate) and where there are swales or patches of higher vegetation. The owners here are pretty nice but of course, don't walk out onto the fields. An added bonus a this time of year is that the dirt road on your left, just as you come out onto the open area -- the road runs along the woods edge-- has proved quite good in early am for warblers during migration, esp. on days when the first sun hits the trees.
