I was just commenting on this very fact today while birding at Terrapin Park and one of the other birders (also an AA County resident) agreed, saying she had been mobbed by a group recently. There seems to have been three distinct waves of fledgelings in my neighborhood. By the way, highlights at Terrapin were 1 Mourning and Nashville Warbler and several gorgeous male American Redstarts; 1 each Sharp-Shinned and Coopers Hawk. Only shorebirds seen was a group of Sanderlings on the beach.
