The bird was present again this morning. I don't know who originally found it. In any case, I last saw it about 9:30 in the little cove by the boat dock. Access is from south Cradle Rock, I cannot recall the name of the little street, but believe there are signs pointing to parking. A Northern Waterthrush was on the south shore of the lake, and quite excited. Two Great Blue Herons chased one another around, flying with necks extended. It caught the attention of quite a few non-birding walkers. There was also a Ring-Billed Gull and two immature Double- crested Cormorants present.
