Warblers at Terrapin Park included Northern waterthrush, magnolia, redstart, black-throated blue, parula, yellowthroat, and an immature mourning warbler. Things were even better at Bombay Hook, which was awash in shorebirds, including: Greater yellowlegs--hundreds Lesser yellowlegs--hundreds stilt sandpipers--10+ black-bellied plovers--40+ American golden plovers--5+ dunlin--5+ least sandpipers semipalmated sandpipers pectoral sandpipers--2 long-billed dowitchers--50+ short-billed dowitchers--50+ American Avocets--200+ (an unbelievable raft, with dowitchers mixed in) A peregrine falcon and merlin each took a turn at swiping a if bird in the crowded pool, to no avail. Godwits also persist at Little Creek, although they were very far away and did not provide great looks.
