Its bill was dark, head and neck dull chocolate brown with a hint of a light line appearing on the neck, breast creamy, back and side feathers marked and brown like a female's, speculum (what I could see) dark with a white line, tail coverts brown and mottled, tail short. In general, a thin, trim looking duck, and the only eclipse Pintail I've ever seen (hence the description if anyone has other ideas).
