Other species present: Pectoral Sandpiper 6 Least Sandpiper 1 Semipalmated Sandpiper 8 Lesser Yellowlegs 10 Ruddy Duck 6 and lots of Killdeer, Mallards and Canada Geese. Later the same morning, a swing past Central Sod Farm in Queen Anne's County yielded little other than Killdeer on the grassy field where Buff-breasted Sandpipers had appeared last week. Looks like the weather front lured some of the nice birds away.
