The timing of the wind shift and cooling was not quite perfect for dropping a lot of migrants into our laps it seems. I had six warbler species this morning: Tennessee, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia (6), Baypoll (probably Blackpoll, it was dull gray green), Black-and-white, and yellowthroat. Other passerine highlights were a Gray-cheeked Thrush calling in our back yard, a Lincoln's Sparrow, and two Philadelphia Vireos. I also had a few migrating raptors with two Broad-winged and two Sharp-shinned hawks.
