Some good = stuff out there! Black-throated Blue tons of Indigo Buntings 4 Red-eyed Vireos 1 Philly Vireo (Calvert bird for me) 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks 1 Connecticut Warbler (I wish I had brought the video camera. It fed out = in the open for a couple of minutes!) 2 Ospreys several Kestrels 4 Palm Warblers 2 B&W Warblers 1 N. Parula Warbler 1 Magnolia Warbler The weirdest thing was a Downy Woodpecker. I'm not sure how I saw it but = it was hugging a small branch when I got out of the car. It was upside = down and totally motionless. It was alive because I could see it blinking = but it was totally frozen. Usually, Downy's don't appear to be too afraid = of people so I thought there must be a raptor nearby. Didn't see anything = except the 2 Ospreys and the kestrels across the field on the phone wires. = I figured I was freaking it out so I left.
