This post reminded me -- I was out for a walk 2 days ago (Tuesday Sept. 24) on the Swansfield bike path, and saw a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW in addition to: REDSTART MAGNOLIA WARBLER BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER Guess I should learn to communicate these things a bit more promptly. The BLACK-THROATED GREEN was actually on the ground! She was bathing herself in a small creek.
