The watch began in 1995, and the site is manned by volunteers from the Cecil Bird Club and other affiliated Clubs in the area. Generally counters are only present from ~ 9AM - 12 PM. Last year we had complete coverage, but it seems we may not have such good fortune this year. ( Acutally, we have only missed a few days thus far, ) For more complete site information, including volunteering at the site, view www.udel.edu/cecilbirds Well, things started to look up with a count of 82 raptors on 9/25, 4.5 hrs, NW winds, Rick Lee principal counter: TV-6 OS-2 SS-55 NH-2 BE-6 CH-2 BW-2 AK-5 PG- 2 Have not heard from the 26th, no count the 27th, THEN, all heck broke loose on Saturday.
