The watch began in 1995, and the site is manned by volunteers from the Cecil Bird Club and other affiliated Clubs in the area. Generally counters are only present from ~ 9AM - 12 PM. Last year we had complete coverage, but it seems we may not have such good fortune this year. ( Acutally, we have only missed a few days thus far, ) For more complete site information, including volunteering at the site, view www.udel.edu/cecilbirds Should have checkec all my e-mails! Just posted on 9/28 and saw an amended count from 2 die hards that stayed on and added to the tally to bring up to 328. too tired to post additions now, will catch up tomorrow.
