The Potomac was at low tide allowing good looks at a juvenile Green Heron, a Great Egret and several Great Blue Heron feeding on the shoreline and mud bars. American Coot (3) and Common Loon (2) were foraging at the edges of hydrilla beds. Twenty-two birds observed including these migrants: Red-eye Vireo (1) Northern Parula (2) American Redstart (1) Baltimore Oriole (1-female) Tom Marko MOS-MCC tlmarko@us.med.navy.mil ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
