There was a first year CONNECTICUT WARBLER down in the ba= ck end of Meadowbrook. I walked in from the park and ride off of route 1= 00. Although it is easier to reach the area the bird was in by continuei= ng past the park and ride towards rt. 29, when you are paralell with rout= e 29 look for a big white X on the left side of the road. The bird was b= y the pond down there on your left. I saw the bird around 4:30pm this af= ternoon. Other birds included 25 Wood Duck, 30 Phoebe, and 1 White-throated Sparro= w.
