The watch began in 1995, and the site is manned by volunteers from the Cecil Bird Club and other affiliated Clubs in the area. Generally counters are only present from ~ 9AM - 12 PM. Last year we had complete coverage, but it seems we may not have such good fortune this year. ( Acutally, we have only missed a few days thus far, ) For more complete site information, including volunteering at the site, view www.udel.edu/cecilbirds I have been away from the computer for much of this week, so am doing a little catching up on some reports! 10/1 Denis and Patti Quin counted for 3 hrs in the afternoon, SSW winds and had: SS-8, CH-1, BE-1, NH-1, BW-1, AK-8, UA-1 ( ll ) 10/2- no data yet 10/3- Candi Lee worked really hard for several hours in the AM but scored zip! 10/4- no count 10/5 was best day of week with Rick Lee counting for 4 hours in the AM, S winds, another nice day for PEREGRINE, with 3 coming through.
