We had a group total of 57 species, with 10 warblers, most well seen by all. Lots of action early and continously all morning, till about 10 or so when things began to taper off. Lots, and LOTS of Robins feeding all over. Cedar Waxwings, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, everywhere. Warblers included Tennessee, Nashville, Magnolia, Chestnut-sided, PALM, Black-throated Blue (many, both sexes) and Green (many), YELLOW-RUMPED (many), C. Yellowthroat, and Blackpoll. A lone Blue-headed Vireo, a lone Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, many Golden and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, a handful of White-throated Sparrows, Field Sparrow, Indigo Buntings. Really nice looks at circling Sharp-shinned and Coopers Hawks, a pair of Red-tailed Hawks and a Red-shouldered Hawk, as well as a flyover Common Loon, and the nicest surprise was a single BLUE GROSBEAK (probably a female), which was a new species for me at this park. Thanks to all those in attendance, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. It was a beautiful morning to be out...
