We will be on the south shore of the lake, which can be reached by turning left from the Concession stand at the South Entrance, or walking counterclockwise from the west entrance parking lots. Look for the crazy person camped out on a chair with a spotting scope. I will be there by 7 am and remain until dark, or rain, or boredom, or How Co Park and Rec kicks me out. Join us. This is our fourth Big Sit! and it's a lot of fun, even in the rain. Matt, Jim, etc, Good Luck! Are the folks at Ft. McHenry doing a Big Sit! this year? For a Big Sit, a team must count only birds seen/heard from a 17-foot diameter circle. Anyone can stop by and contribute birds to the list. Jim Stasz, Zach Baer, and I will be there from pre-dawn through atleast 10am. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we will not be able to stay at the circle all day. If anyone is interested in participating, please contact me and I will give you more information. If you happen to be in the OC area that day, stop by the circle and send me your observations, the will be added to the cumulative list. Hope to see some of you there!! > > Matt Hafner > College Park, MD > > ======================================================================= > To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com > with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey > ======================================================================= ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
