Walk out the main dike past the impoundments, continue straight past the spruce grove on the right, continue straight ahead to the third cornfield on the right. At the third cornfield is a large area of knee-high yellow grass. The bird was hanging in the tallest grass at the back edge. No need to trample it all down, it calls a lot and comes up for quick looks if you just stand there. Lincoln's Sparrow was in the southside hedgerow.
