Highlights: Common Loon Merlin Royal Tern Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (1st of season for many of us) Brown Creeper Warblers: Northern Parula, Cape May (several - giving great views), = Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green, Blackpoll, Yellow-rumped, and = Common Yellowthroat =20 An additional highlight was that our local birding group was = augmented by guests from Oklahoma and Hawaii who were in our area for a = school reunion. Postings on MDOSPREY from birding in the St Michaels = area had been spotted several weeks ago by the Oklahoma birder, leading = to their joining our birdwalk and staying for the delicious brunch that = followed.
