The bird was in the company of some 15 Lesser Yellowlegs. Five Greater Yellowlegs were also around. The Phalarope did some feeding in the short grass beside the water so as to show off its yellow legs. Lighting was splendid since I was viewing toward the west from a spot along the PCAC driveway with the sun at my back. The bird was initially following close to a single Lesser Yellowlegs in one of the middle ponds of the wetland. Later it abandoned that pond and spent its time with the larger group of birds in the pond closest to the farm buildings. The bird was still present when I left the premises.
