Yesterday a Junco in the yard! I witnessed a bizarre and unusual feeding station last week. It was a "warbler" feeder that consisted of pounds (hundreds?) of rotting fruit that hosted millions of fruit flies. The stench made it impractical for most people's yards but it sure did bring in the warblers. The first bird I observed was a Cape May Warbler that fed on fruit flies for over 2 hours just a few feet from me. Interesting.
