Normally i would not encourage anyone to plant a non-native species, but we have a Siberian Elm in our yard that, every autumn, gets covered with millions of aphids. They literally make the bark black for about 2 months. The tree is always filled with warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. There have been as many as 5 or 6 species at a time in it. danny bystrak bristol, AA Co. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
