Nothing particularly unusual but highlights were: Lincoln's Sparrow - 4 separate birds, all found in damp weedy fields in the company of Swamp Sparrows (3 in Hughes Hollow, 1 in dog training fields along Sycamore Landing Rd). Speaking of which, Swamp Sparrows were abundant today. Other sparrows: Field, single immature White-crowned (W/crowned flock not yet back in regular wintering spots), a couple of Chipping, Song, White-throated, Junco. Rusty Blackbirds - flock of at least 50 at the Hughes Hollow impoundments, but I think I may have undercounted them. All 7 woodpeckers; nice adult Red-headed on Sycamore Landing Rd near the junction with River Rd Blue-headed Vireo, singing, at Hughes Hollow About a dozen E. Phoebes in total, in different locations Quite a few raptors around, including a subadult male Northern Harrier quartering a field along Trundle Rd.
