The geese are not always resting there so it has been hard to check on the presence/absence of Ross's Goose since 6 Oct. Today I was fortunate enough to find 1000 Snows (and 10 blues) with the 2-3000 Canadas and even more fortunate to find a nice adult Ross's. So it's still worth checking the Snow Geese in the Fish Hatchery Rd/Handy Point Rd area in Kent County. Other birds of interest today: 2 Merlins (one at Great Oak Pd); 5 Pectoral Sandpipers (Great Oak Pd); 3 sapsuckers; 15 Tree Swallows; 2 Winter Wrens; and a Tennessee Warbler at Chesapeake Landing.
