I still have 2 feeders out in my yard, but so far haven't seen the bird anywhere except in the hedgerow, which is easily a couple of hundred yards away and behind the homes across the street. I quickly took the dog inside, and came back out with my scope and digital camera, relocated the bird and got 4 digi-scope images of the bird, perched. The best of the images is not good, but she faces the camera head-on so the breast is visible, as is the face. 2 of the other shots are of the bird perched high in an apple tree, facing away, and they are both dark and rather smudgy, but show the white outer tail feathers and green color on the back. The overcast weather conditions were not conducive to good pictures, and I waited nearly an hour after shooting the first shots for the bird to show back up, but she did not. Maybe I will try again later...
