The watch began in 1995, and the site is manned by volunteers from the Cecil Bird Club and other affiliated Clubs in the area. Generally counters are only present from ~ 9AM - 12 PM. Last year we had complete coverage, but it seems we may not have such good fortune this year. ( Acutally, we have only missed a few days thus far, ) For more complete site information, including volunteering at the site, view www.udel.edu/cecilbirds Some decent flights are continuing to flyover Turkey Point, with the occasional falcon still. On 11/4, Charlie Gant was only out for 1.5 hrs. but in that time he scored our first GOLDEN EAGLE of the season, a beautiful adult low over the clearing, that then headed out over the Elk River.
