On November 11, i saw a nighthawk flying south behind my house (Jug Bay). Of course at the great distance and backlit, i could not say for sure that it was a Common, but strongly suspect it was. Assuming it was a Common, this is later than the latest date shown in the Yellow Book. Interestingly, it was the same day Arlene saw the Northern Waterthrush, and my brother saw a Black-and White Warbler in Salisbury. On November 14, we caught a Blackpoll Warbler at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary. This is also a record late date for the state. danny bystrak d bystrak bristol A.A. Co.
