As a birder, chef, and Newfoundlander by marriage, I was intrigued by the
movie's description, so had to get it from the local video store over the
weekend.  It was wacky, but they got the Newfoundland accent down pretty
well.

But the portrayal of birders was way off.  The restaurant in question served
such delicacies as Poached Cod in a Truffle Oil Sauce, and Duck Confit
accompanied by a '61 Burgundy.  How many birders do you know who would drop
those kind of bucks on a bird-excursion meal???
