Hit a few spots in DC this morning (Anacostia River Park, Kenilworth
Park, Arboretum), with a few birds of note:

TUNDRA SWAN - a flock of 43 emerged out of the clouds, only to get
enveloped by them again while I was at Kenilworth Park. Another flock
of 9 flew over a few minutes later from the other direction. Not sure
if they were from the original flock.

PINTAIL - 1 male at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens

GRAY CATBIRD - 1 bird hanging out in a traditional wintering spot at the
Arb

EASTERN TOWHEE - 2 birds also at the Arb.

Otherwise it was the usual cast of characters.

Good birding,
