A very cold blustery = morning with bright cloudless skies from 7:00AM to about 9:30AM. It = quickly became very overcast and seemed to get much colder. Winds today = are from the NW about 30MPH with 4-5ft seas. Not ideal conditions to = view small birds such as swallows. Birds of note today were a 1st winter = Bald Eagle and 2 resident adults. 1 juv Coopers Hawk 1 adult male = Sharp-shin Hawk. 1 adult female Merlin, all viewed at the point. Seabird = about the same but I did not see Red-throated Loon today nor Brown = Pelican. On the Causeway the Harlequin Duck remains with super good = looks from the south end of the causeway. I will be going back to the = point after warming up a bit and give an update around 5:00PM on the = Cave Swallow(s).
